Numerologically, 2011 is the energy of building a foundation that inspires and heals.
As 2010 comes to a close, we reflect on the energy of the "three" (2+0+1+0) year -- a creative year of communication and self expression. For some of us, it was a year of great creative achievements. For others, it was about the challenges of expressing ourselves. I ponder over this "three" year for myself and others as I witnessed much upheaval, transition, creative beginnings and in some ways, dealing with loss and delving deep into the shadow. Asking myself, what is next?
It seems to have been this way for many of us emotionally, politically, economically, spiritually and environmentally. But the good news is numerologically, 2011 is a year of the builder and grounder... a year to get things done - the "four". (2+0+11 = 4)

With the "four" energy, we are moving into a more grounded state filled with inspiration and a new way of looking at things. It is a time to build... a time to take a look at what you are ready to construct in your present life (career, relationships, creative and personal endeavors). It is a time of building a foundation, a more solid earth, economy and community in ourselves and our planet.

2+0+11 = 4
Two - connecting with others, communication and understanding relationships is the goal of this millennium.
Zero - potential - looking at the path we have not yet gone on. We do not know what is next - it is pure potential and searching for the next road.. that road that is unique. Taking chances for the pure sake of adventure and possibilities.
11 - Double ones. Eleven is a master number which creates an environment for the year of pure inspiration, new ideas, insight and a creative psychic ability to achieve ideas that have never been thought of or implemented before.
The path of 2011 is a four.. the builder, the organizer, the connection to home and stability. So this is a time for the earth and all of us to marshal our ideas and our visions and inspirations, with the groundedness and fortitude of the four.. to achieve new strength and accomplish goals and healing of our relationships, our inner selves and our environment.

Make a list of intentions of what you want to inspire and build in 2011. Four is a good instructional organized energy to step out of your "thoughtful dreams" and into transforming them into action. This intention list might include several areas of your life: Relationships/career/creativity/serving the planet/healing/life path.

Find one word for each of your intentions..place the list on your mirror or altar, or create a creative image (painting, sculpture, poem, etc) that represents all of what you want to build. On December 31, 2010 midnight or the next day January 1, 2011 - you could gather with like minded people, chant, share prayers and connect with the grounding and inspiring spirit of 2011.

Contribute to healing the planet. There are many organizations that help others build a better life here is just a few.

- House of the Children (www.houseofthechildren.org) This supports clean water & health in Peru's Amazon Rain Forest.
